It is the great pleasure of the Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor to welcome the Rev. Peter Panagore into the pulpit after nearly 10 years.

Panagore is a native New Englander, born and raised in Massachusetts, and a graduate of Yale University in New Haven, Conn., with a Masters of Divinity. Panagore earned a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Raised both Greek Orthodox and Roman Catholic, and ordained in the United Church of Christ, he served 18 years in pulpits in Connecticut and Maine, including the Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor. In 2003, he was recruited to apply for the position of Pastor for Daily Devotions. Given his theological, literary and theatrical training, it is a role for which he is well suited. He serves as the fifth minister of the First Radio Parish Church of America. Daily Devotions are seen each morning on NBC, WCSH, channel 6 and are also available on the First Radio Parish website.
