A beautiful 27-foot sailboat was donated this week to the annual Rotary Auction, which is being held on Saturday, Aug. 3 at Sherman Field, Boothbay Region High School.

While not practical to transport to the Auction site, the sailboat can be seen at Southport Island Marine, so do check it out.

Auction tents will open promptly at 8 a.m. on Saturday. There are many unusual and desirable items this year in the Boutique Tent, the Book Tent, Children’s Tent, and Flea Market and Tools. The live auction begins at 10 a.m. with auctioneer Robert Foster.

The Make an Offer Tent will open for preview only from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday. No other tents will be open at that time while volunteers continue setting up for Saturday’s opening.
