Mothers are invited to share their experiences, ask questions and connect with one another at LincolnHealth’s new mom support group. The group meets every Tuesday from 1 to 3 p.m. on the LincolnHealth – Miles Campus in Damariscotta in the Watson Health Center’s community room.

“When I became a mom last year, I often called my coworkers for reassurance and information,” said Miles Maternity’s Annie Baron, RN. “Later, I realized all moms should have access to that same help and support, so we started a Mother’s Support Group. This group offers a place where moms can come together and figure out what their new journey is all about. They can relax, slow down, share stories and ask questions.”

Mothers are invited to join regardless of where their child was born. Expecting moms and children are welcome.

The group is led by LincolnHealth registered nurses. While the focus of the support group is not on breastfeeding, certified lactation counselors and consultants are available to answer questions.
