Come home from your summer events on Sept. 8 to worship with Wiscasset’s First Congregational Church. Service starts with the ringing of the bell at 10 a.m. at the historic High Street sanctuary. Children in school up to the eighth grade will begin the season under the guidance of Church School Teacher and Coordinator Colleen Crowley. The choir, under the direction of Linda Adams, will open the fall season with “You Raise Me Up” and “Kyrie.”

Following Rev. Josh Fitterling’s sermon entitled “Say Cheese!” an all-church photo will be taken on the granite front steps of the church. Every homecoming needs food. Coffee Hour will include hot dogs, hamburgers and drinks provided by the church. You may bring a side dish to share as we welcome you home.
