American Legion Post 54 of Wiscasset will observe Veterans Day at 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 11 at the veterans wall at the town office, at the corner of Routes 1 and 27. The public is welcome there and afterward at the post’s hall at 523 Bath Road for coffee and doughnuts, Commander William Cossette Jr. said.

Woolwich will honor military veterans of all stripes at its annual Veterans Day celebration Monday, Nov. 11. The program in the historic Nequasset Meeting House across from the town office starts at 11 a.m. Paul Eich of Woolwich is keynote speaker, the Montsweagers will provide live music, and Selectman and District 53 Rep. Allison Hepler is master of ceremonies. All are welcome.
