Alna is carrying on with its annual Giving Tree in the pandemic. Here’s how to take part:

 

In the enclosure outside the town office is a paper tree with wishes attached to it by push pins. Take a wish from the enclosure; purchase a gift, wrap it and attach a piece of paper with the wish to the outside of the gift; return to the office with it during office hours or leave it in the box outside – no worries, there are cameras and the box will be checked daily.

 

The gift will be transferred to the tree inside the office. Gifts will be distributed the week before Christmas. Lastly, someone will open a much needed gift this holiday season.
