Portland Symphony Quartet at the Opera House

A quartet of musicians from the Portland Symphony Orchestra will bring classical music to the Opera House at Boothbay Harbor’s performance hall on Thursday, Aug. 31.
The quartet, composed of Amanda Hardy, oboe, Amy Sims, violin, Matthew Consul, viola and William Rounds, cello will begin playing at 7 p.m. Classical music fans should expect to hear pieces by J.C. Bach, Edward Elgar, Beethoven, Mozart, Bohuslav Martinu, and others.
