All cookbooks are on sale at half price from Tuesday, June 4 through Tuesday, June 18, at Skidompha Secondhand Book Shop in downtown Damariscotta.

The shop offers an extensive collection, from general cookbooks to books specializing in subjects like New England recipes, outdoor cooking, and chocolate.

The shop is located at 17 Backstreet Landing and is open every day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Besides hardcover and paperback books in dozens of categories for adults and children, it offers movies on DVD; music CDs and vinyl records; and games and puzzles. It is a major source of funding for Skidompha Public Library. All items are donated, all staff members are volunteers, and proceeds support the library’s programs and collections. Donations are accepted whenever the shop is open.
