The Oratorio Chorale looks forward to its 2013-2014 season, beginning with two days of auditions in early September with newly appointed director Emily Isaacson.

Openings are available in all voice parts, and singers are not required to prepare music.

Singers interested in trying out for the Chorale, which will celebrate its 40th anniversary this year, can sign up for an appointment. Auditions will be held on Thursday, Sept. 5, from 5 to 7 p.m. and on Saturday, Sept. 7, from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Auditions will be held at Midcoast Presbyterian Church, 84 Main St. in Topsham. Prospective singers can look forward to an interesting year with programs including “Musical Fireworks,” in the fall; “Shakespeare in Concert” in winter and the “Brahms Requiem” in the spring.
