The Maine Chapter of Parents of Murdered Children and other Survivors of Homicide Victims will be holding a ground breaking ceremony on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 1 p.m., at Holy Family Cemetery, Townsend Road, Augusta, on the site of the future Maine Murder Victim's Memorial monument.

The monument has been designed to honor those whose lives have been taken from us by violence.
