Local artist Doug Zyskowski has donated two framed stained glass “windows” to the Southport Memorial Library in Newagen.

The windows are two sizes, one is 27 inches by 24 inches and valued at $400, the other is 12½ by 23½ inches and valued at $200.

The windows are made with lead and using the same method used in the medieval churches.

The frames are hand-crafted birch and, as with all stained glass windows, they are meant to hang in a window. Both windows are displayed at the library windows and welcome your bids. The bids are open until October 15.

The library is open Tuesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
