Nominations are now being accepted for the eighth annual MaineHealth Coulombe Center Award for Innovation, but only until April 15. 

Created in 2018, this award highlights non-profit community partner organizations who are doing innovative work and improving the lives of those living and working in Lincoln County. The goal is to further develop innovative programs that already exist locally. 

 Past Innovation Award winners were: 

• 2024: Lincoln County Dental 

• 2023: Veggies To Table 

• 2022: Boothbay VETS 

• 2021: Coastal Kids Preschool 

• 2020: Lulu the Lunch Wagon, Healthy Lincoln County 

• 2019: Sara Cawthorn and Megan Taft from Twin Village Food Bank  

• 2018: Haley Bezon from Hearty Roots  

Award winners are honored at a recognition event each spring and receive funds to help further develop their program. A panel of volunteers from the St. Andrews Community Committee, the MaineHealthCoulombe Center for Health Improvement and the MaineHealthLincolnHospital Steering Committee will review nominations and select an award winner. Self-nomination is not allowed.
