The Wiscasset School Committee has moved up the start time of its Thursday, January 23, meeting at Wiscasset High School to 4 p.m., Chairman Glen Craig announced.

The meeting will open briefly in the library, for a vote to enter into an executive, or closed-door, session in the school’s conference room to interview a candidate for interim superintendent, Craig said. The committee will return to the library to end the executive session and recess until the regular meeting time of 6 p.m., in the library, Craig said.

At one point during the meeting, the committee will go back into executive session for another candidate interview, Craig said. Then the panel will return to the library and re-open the meeting, he said.

The committee plans to also meet January 25, for an executive session with another candidate, Craig said.
