The Wiscasset High School’s School Spirit Challenge continued Friday, Feb. 28 when the Good Shepherd Food Bank arrived to haul away the two pallets of food the community donated as part of the WGME School Spirit Challenge.
The Wolverines will now have to wait to hear how much their haul weighs, if they hope to advance.
WGME was onsite Friday to tape the truck being loaded and talked with several students about the effort to fill up the truck with food.
The segment will air between 5:45 a.m. and 7 a.m. Friday, March 4 in Portland, when the winners of the contest are announced. Several school officials will be at Channel 13’s studios early for the announcement.
