About 50 Edgecomb Eddy School students participated in a Jumpathon on Friday afternoon, March 7, to raise funds for the American Heart Association. We set a goal to raise $500 and far exceeded that by raising over $1,300.
We've been spending the last month promoting heart healthy activities and awareness by jumping rope each morning before school, and our school nurse, Candie Crocker, taught lessons on maintaining a healthy heart.
