A man was sent to Miles Memorial Hospital March 24 after falling 12 feet and landing on a pneumatic nail gun.
The unidentified man was working on a garage on Sheepscot Shores Road in Wiscasset on Monday afternoon when he fell off the staging and to the ground, Wiscasset Fire Chief TJ Merry said.
“He fell from the staging and right onto his neck and shoulder,” he said. “The pneumatic gun hit him in the face.”
The man's coworkers did well to keep him warm in the chilly weather, Merry said.
The man was sent to Damariscotta with neck pain and lacerations on his face from the gun, Merry said.
Wiscasset Police and Fire Departments and CLC Ambulance responded to the scene.
