We need your opinion: It’s time to cast your votes in the Summertime photo contest.
Head over to the contest and rank the entries from 1 to 10 (10 being the best). You can vote as many times a day as you like.
Since the start of the contest on February 23, we’ve recceived just shy of 100 entries of photos of Maine in summer — and they are all spectacular! If you want to fast forward to summertime, there’s no better way than glancing through these idyllic scenes from across Maine.
Winners will be announced after the close of the contest on April 30, so there’s still time to enter and vote. Winners’ photos will appear in the printed Summertime Guide for 2014, the online Summertime Guide, and other places, including the newspaper and on social media.
Boothbay Register’s award-winning Summertime Guide will be all-new in 2014. With a smaller, magazine style layout, full color and more features, the upcoming version of our popular classic will maintain that small town charm while giving us a style upgrade.
