The odds of winning a dream vacation in Heartwood Theater’s raffle are simply unbelievable (as low as 1 in 30) depending on the property selection, with the purchase of a single ticket. Purchasing two tickets for the same property, alone or with a friend, slices the odds to as low as 1 in 15. But time is of the essence! All purchases must be made by 9 a.m. on Friday, April 4.

A maximum of 200 tickets, at $50 each, will be sold for each property. Four winners will receive a week's stay at the property of their choice and $1,000 for expenses, to one of four gorgeous locations in Italy and France, being offered in this European vacation raffle.

Bookend properties of Italy, south to north, are a luxury guest house in sunny Salento, Apulia, and a 13th century stone villa in the hillside village of Ventimiglia, Alpes-Maritimes. Just across the border in France, take a chance on a skiers’ paradise (a chalet in the Grand Massif Area, French Alps) or an apartment in ancient Apt, the heart of Provence.

This week the final featured property is a luxury villa, La Tana del Riccio in Salento. It was recently renovated to be a cozy and welcoming design boutique vacation home, while maintaining the classic architecture of an ancient house. Ideal for those looking for a friendly and elegant atmosphere with spectacular terraces. Choose the suite that suits.

A short distance away there is access to the beautiful coast on the Adriatic or Ionian seas, with rocks and deep waters to sandy and shallow beaches to explore. The accommodation in Salento is less than a half hour from the towns of Lecce, Otranto, Gallipoli and Santa Maria di Leuca.

A reception and drawings, open to the public, will be held on Friday, April 4 at 5 p.m. in Heartwood’s office and studio at 18 Biscay Road (next to Portland Glass) in Damariscotta. Wine and treats will be available from 5 to 5:30 p.m., with four drawings at 5:30 p.m. sharp. Players need not be present to win; all winners will be notified immediately after the drawings.
