Jerry G. Sessler, 88, of Rochester, N.H. died April 26, 2014 at his home with family members close by.

Born October 9, 1925 in Toledo, Ohio, he was the son of the late Wilbur and Frances (Gregg) Sessler.

Mr. Sessler served in the U.S. Navy during World War II aboard an aircraft carrier in the Pacific. He worked for 27 years as an engineer and manager at Sanders Associates in Nashua, N.H.

Jerry was an avid outdoorsman who loved boating, hunting and fishing.

While living in the Boothbay region, he was a member of the Boothbay Region Refuse Disposal District board.

Members of his family include his wife of 66 years, Carolyn (Weich) Sessler of Rochester, N.H.; his children, Gregg Sessler and wife Christina of Dover, N.H., James Sessler and wife Sally of Laconia, N.H.; Julia Sessler of Dover, N.H.; and Linda Willette and husband Stephen of Bennington, N.H.; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and his sister, Nancy Sessler of California.

There will be no services at this time.
