On Sunday, June 22 at 10 a.m., David Eastwood will be the guest minister at the Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor.

Eastwood is a professor emeritus, Department of Agricultural Economics and Resource Economics, The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. His work there focused on applied demand research. Eastwood started coming to the region in the mid-1950s. His parents retired here, building their home in Factory Cove.

He and his wife Judy retired to that home nearly nine years ago. He has been involved with the Coast Guard Auxiliary, Boothbay Region Y, Student Aid Fund, and the Congregational Church. Eastwood also leads the Bible Basics class on Sunday evenings at the Congregational Church.
