Healthy Kids' final field trip of the 2014 season took the combined playgroups of Damariscotta and Boothbay Harbor on the Wiscasset, Waterville and Farmington Railroad to the end of the line in Alna.
A stop in Alna Center gave the group an opportunity to get off the train, eat a healthy snack provided by the agency and gather for a group photo.
Playgroup has already begun for the Boothbay Harbor group. Damariscotta begins on Oct. 20.
Both groups meet from 10 a.m. to noon, with Damariscotta on Mondays at 127 Elm Street and Boothbay Harbor on Wednesdays at the Congregational Church.
