The Dresden Historical Society has announced that on Sunday, Feb. 22, archaeologist Arthur Spies will be at Bridge Academy on Route 197 in Dresden Mills at 2 p.m. to do a presentation on the archaeological history of Dresden Falls.

This was the area near the Kennebec River located just off Route 128 (River Road) where an archaeological dig was recently done.

A lot of significant artifacts and information will be presented. Seating is limited, so you should arrive early. We hope to see many people there who share an interest in the history that can be discovered through this presentation.
