Scott Brunt will bring a gospel concert to the Wiscasset Church of the Nazarene, 255 Gardiner Road, April 19 at 11 a.m.

Brunt's passion for singing and performing started at a very young age. He and his younger brother and their father have sung concerts for over 20 years. As a teenager, he learned percussion instruments. He went on to sing southern gospel in concerts. He and his father formed a duet and traveled throughout New England as the Brunt Family Singers.

He is also host of Saturday Night Gospel Hour heard throughout southern New England. He sings with other family gospel groups, such as the Campbell's, as their bass singer, traveling throughout the United States. He is known for his deep bass singing voice. At present, he is doing many professional gospel CDs, both as solo artist and singing groups.
