Weather permitting, the Wiscasset Wolverines varsity baseball and softball teams will open their Mountain Valley Conference season at home this Friday, April 22 against the Boothbay Region Seahawks.

A pregame ceremony starting at 3:40 p.m. is planned that will include an introduction of the players, presentation of the colors by the Bradford-Sortwell-Wright Post 54 of the American Legion, and the singing of the national anthem.

The opening pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m.
