The CLC YMCA began selling raffle tickets May 25 for a shed built courtesy of Hervochon Construction and Hancock Lumber. The public can see the beautifully built 8-foot x 10-foot shed in front of Hancock Lumber on Business Route 1, next to YellowFront. Valued at $5,000, the shed featured red Smart siding and low-maintenance PVC trim, custom built double barn doors, and asphalt shingle roof. Tickets can be purchased at Hancock Lumber, at the CLC YMCA or Y Childcare. Cost is $5 each or 5 for $20. The drawing will be held at the Zombie Run on October 7. Proceeds for the raffle benefit the Y's Capital Project.
