Antique car club visits Boothbay Railway Village


The Maine Chapter of the Antique Automobile Club of America is visiting the Boothbay Railway Village on Saturday, June 24. The cars on the tour will be parked on the Museum’s Village Green from about 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. allowing the public to have an opportunity to visit with owners and view the wide variety of participating vehicles. Local club members own vehicles as diverse as a 1904 Stanley Steamer, 1955 Crown Vic, 1930 Cord, 1946 Crosley, and even a 1973 Mustang.
Memberships in the AACA are open to all individuals who have a genuine interest in the antique automobile hobby. Ownership of an automobile is not a prerequisite of membership.
Admission to the Museum is $12 adults, $10 seniors, $6 children ages 3 to 18, children under 3 and Museum Members are free. In addition to the club’s vehicles, visitors will explore more than two dozen exhibits including more than 60 carriages, trucks and cars, a world-class model railroad, and an operating narrow-gauge railroad.
