The Edgecomb Community Church Mission Outreach Committee will be holding a gift baskets fundraiser during the summer months. There are a total of 12 gift baskets with one of the following themes: Wine and Cheese, Gardening, Woof, Meow, Art, Coffee, Tea, Lobster Lovers, Candy, Let’s Play, Spa, and a handmade stuffed animal.

Tickets for the raffle fundraiser are six tickets for $5 or $1 each, and may be purchased from individual church members or at the following events: The 4th annual Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, July 1 at the Edgecomb Fire Department; The Iris Sale, Saturday, July 8 at the Edgecomb Community Church; Ames Supply in Wiscasset on Saturdays, July 29, Aug. 26 and Sept. 9; The 5 Mile Yard Sale on Cross Point Road, Saturday, Aug. 12 at Edgecomb Community Church; The Sub & Chips Sale, Saturday, July 22 at the Edgecomb Community Church; The Edgecomb Community Supper supporting the Edgecomb Fire Department, Saturday, Aug. 19; and Getting to Know You, a community gathering on Sept. 24 at the church.

The Edgecomb Community Outreach Committee is hoping to raise enough funds to purchase new transport wheelchairs for the Eldercare Network. The drawing for the winners will be on Sunday, Sept. 24 at the Getting to Know You gathering at the Edgecomb Community Church. For further information call the church at 882-4060.
