County EMA seeks storm damage information

The Lincoln County Emergency Management Agency is asking residents to provide them with information about damages to their homes and businesses from the Oct. 30 storm and subsequent loss of power.

In an email sent on Thursday, Nov. 9, County EMA Director Casey Stevens said, “...We have a pretty good handle on damage and losses to public property,” but added that “We believe there is more damage to homes and businesses than has been reported so far.”

Stevens wants to make sure that all losses are reported. As an example, a business that may have been closed for days and had losses should report the loss. Stevens asked those receiving the email to give it wide distribution so that potentially eligible claims can be found and reported.
