The Boothbay/Wiscasset girls track team finished second May 15 in an eight-team Mountain Valley Conference meet held at Maranacook Community High School in Readfield. Boothbay/Wiscasset scored 127 points. Maranacook won with 164. Winthrop finished third with 83. Rose Campbell won the 100M, 200M and discus. Arabella Hodgdon won the 1,600M race walk.

In the 100M dash, Campbell won with a 13.59 second mark. Boothbay/Wiscasset's Moriah Smith finished third at 14.07. In the 200M, Campbell won with a 27.94 second mark. Boothbay/Wiscasset's Olivia Rittall finished third with 28.57 and Smith finished fourth with 29.27. In the 400M dash, Rittall finished second with a one-minute, 7.57 second time. Boothbay/Wiscasset's Raegan Eddy finished sixth with 1:14.35. Hall-Dale's Jessie Willey won with 1:06.73.

In the 800M run, Maranacook's Caroline Harper won with 2:48.6. Boothbay/Wiscasset's Maddie Orchard finished third with a two-minute, 50.20 second time. In the 1,600M run: Orchard finished fourth with a six-minute, 21.15 second time. Spruce Mountain's Skylar Condon won with 6:09.94.

In the 110M hurdles, Boothbay/Wiscasset's Sophia Mansfield finished third with a 19.57 second time. Maranacook's Evelyn Stevenson won with 17.23. In the 300M hurdles, Boothbay/Wiscasset's Maya Jacobs finished third with a 58.63 second time. Mansfield finished fourth with a 58.69 time. Hall-Dale's Marie Benoit won with 54.44.

In the 4x400M relay, the Boothbay/Wiscasset team of Moriah Smith, Sophia Mansfield, Nerla Leventure and Anna Strozier finished third with a 54.07 second time. Winthrop won with 53.02. In the 4x400M relay, the Boothbay/Wiscasset team finished third with a four-minute, 54.91 second mark. Hall-Dale won with 4:36.74. 

In the high jump, Boothbay/Wiscasset's Zuriel Smith finished third with a four-foot, four inch jump. Maranacook's Evelyn Stevenson won with a five-foot jump. In the long jump, Boothbay/Wiscasset's Mariamna Khomenka finished fifth with a 12-foot, one-inch leap. Maranacook's Ayla Cote won with 13-10.5. 

In the triple jump, Moriah Smith finished fifth with a 30 foot, three-inch jump. Winthrop's Isabelle Folsom won with a 32-foot, 2.5 inch jump. In the discus, Campbell with a 102-foot, five-inch throw. Zuriel Smith finished fourth at 81-11. In the javelin, Zuriel Smith finished fourth with a 73-foot, two-inch throw and Abby Orchard finished fifth with 70-8. Winthrop's Madeline Wagner won with 82-9. 

In the shot put, Zuriel Smith finished fourth with a 25-foot, four-inch throw. Spruce Mountain's Willa Johnson won with 29-9. In the 1,600M race walk, Boothbay/Wiscasset's Arabella Hodgdon won with a nine-minute, 36.5 time. 

The next meet is at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 20 at Wiscasset Middle High School. This is the last home meet and will be Senior Night.
