Saltwater Artists Gallery, a collective of more than 25 juried artists, is hosting its third annual plein air event- “Paint the Point” this coming Saturday, July 19 beginning at 10 a.m. Rain date: Sunday, July 20.

Diane Dubreuil will be jurying the event. Diane is a signature member of the International Plein Air Painters worldwide, a juried member of the NE Watercolor Society, a member of the CT Plein Air painters, NH Plein Air painters, Plein Air Painters of Maine, and several local ME and CT art organizations. Saltwater Artists Gallery is a non-profit, owned and operated by its membership. Each summer, approximately 25 jury-selected artists exhibit, working in every medium: painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, woodturning, glass, jewelry, fiber art and pottery. The Gallery shares an eclectic mix with the visiting public and hosts several events and community partnership programs throughout the season. The Gallery was voted “Best Maine Art Gallery” by DownEast Magazine’s readers for both 2024 and 2023.
