From 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, the Sheepscott Community Church will host a public baked bean supper at the Sheepscot Clubhouse, 619 Sheepscot Road, Newcastle: The supper will have baked beans and franks, and a variety of breads, salads and sides, pies and other desserts, and beverages.

Seating is inside and outside, weather permitting. This event is perfect for community members, families, visitors to the area, or those looking for a great meal. Cost for supper is a goodwill donation, a portion of which will benefit a local nonprofit.
