Budget advisory committee members elected
Members of the Lincoln County Budget Advisory Committee were elected at a caucus held at the court house on September 13 and will work with department heads to put together the 2013 budget for the county. Department heads are expected to present this year's budget requests during a public hearing on Thursday, Sept. 27.
Following work sessions in October, the committee will submit their recommended budget to commissioners on November 2, if not already approved. The deadline for budget approval by commissioners is December 17.
