From her book,“Upwards,” Laurie Apgar Chandler will share the story of her 53-day, 740-mile journey, struggling upstream and racing down flooded rivers churning with whitewater, alone in a small canoe. Chandler shares her uplifting tale of finding the inner strength and faith to achieve a dream, set amidst the rich tapestry of the history, wildlife, landscapes, and people of New England. We welcome the public to join us on Monday, June 10, from 3 to 4 p.m. in our living room.
