The Damariscotta Pumpkinfest & Regatta is delighted to announce the 16th Annual Festival, Oct. 6-9, as the demonstration of the wacky wonders of whopper pumpkins returns to Damariscotta!

Pumpkinfest season launches on Seedling Sunday, May 21 when agriculture meets astounding: the distribution of the golden seeds that germinate the glorious, gargantuan pumpkin that takes the jackpot, on Weigh-Off Weekend, Sept. 30 and Oct. 1.

Pumpkin art, costumed buskers, entertainment, food and folly are featured during the entire weekend, with the parade on Saturday, the returning Derby on Sunday, and the festival finale, the Regatta, on Monday, October 9 at 9 a.m., with an optimal tide for a perfect performance.

Leading up to the Regatta: Oct. 5 - pumpkin deployment, Oct. 6 - artists at work, Oct. 7 - parade, Oct. 8 - derby. Additional exciting events will be announced as confirmed.
