Donald T. Black of Edgecomb died September 30.

During his career, Donald worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Beltsville, Md. After retiring, he and Verna moved to Edgecomb.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and Air Force Reserve.

He is survived by his wife, Verna, sons, Eric Black and his wife Lara of Peachtree City, Ga. and Jeffrey Black and his wife Jody of Boston, Mass.; and grandchildren, Anton Mutyushkov, Samuel Black, Hallie Black and Ry Black.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
