The Community Energy Fund of Lincoln County has been providing fuel assistance to families who don't qualify for state or federal heating assistance programs for over 17 years. The organization partners with local towns to identify families in need and covers the cost of fuel deliveries and heating system repairs. In addition, the Fund can also help families experiencing unexpected emergencies that have a significant financial impact.
Since 2005, the Community Energy Fund has assisted 4,434 families and disbursed over $2,104,053 in total funds. Those in need of assistance should not contact the Community Energy Fund directly, but instead, contact their local town office that assists with disbursement.
