The town of Dresden is currently auctioning off a 1991 AutoCar by Volvo-White/GMC Tanker/Pumper and a 1975 Pierce Pumper (refurbished in 1996). Both of the fire trucks are in good condition and are perfect for road construction companies or for use in a small fire department. These online auctions are open to the public at municibid.com and start ending on Friday, July 23.

These auctions are helping to bring money right back into improving the Dresden community; 100% of the proceeds from these auctions go back to the town of Dresden. These funds are used for road maintenance, setting up local events for residents, community programs, public safety initiatives, and more!

The Pierce Pumper was originally built in 1979 and then refurbished in 1996. It is in good condition and has 16,000 miles on it. The engine and transmission are original equipment from 1975, and the pumper was refurbished in 1996.

The 1991 AutoCar by Volvo-White/GMC Tanker/Pumper has only 19,000 miles on it and is in excellent condition. It is 8-speed and features a Cummins 350 HP Diesel, a Jacob's Engine Brake with full locking rears (inter-wheel and inter-axle), an 18-foot roof ladder, and a 10-foot attic ladder with pike pole and a plaster hook. It has a 3000-gallon tank with a pump that handles 1000 gallons per minute. Its dump tank is 1500 gallons with three 10-foot length of 5-inch suction, a floating strainer, and a 5-inch butterfly valve for the intake. All the service records and inspections are on file and available for viewing.
