Edgecomb school dedicates new play-set

Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) students helped dedicate the Kinder Spot, the new Cedarworks play-set built from parent donations to honor Helene Coffin's years as our kindergarten teacher, on Dec. 4.
A beautiful sign ordered by Coffin's husband will hang as kids enjoy years of fun recesses to come. Boys and girls were served up hot cocoa with marshmallows to celebrate the dedication and stay warm on a chilly day.
To visit CTL when school is in session, prospective parents should call Scott MacDonald, Head of School, at 207-882-9706 to schedule a day to attend a whole-school morning meeting and take a tour of the Edgecomb facilities.
