Hanley announces MDOT projects

State Rep. Jeffery P. Hanley (R - Pittston) is pleased to announce the Maine Department of Transportation (MDOT) Work Plan for 2021, 2022 and 2023 is available. The estimated value of work in the plan totals $2.71 billion.

The plan for District 87 includes six projects and local road assistance totaling $7,142,588 for Wiscasset, Alna, Pittston and Randolph. The work includes intersection reconstruction at Routes 27 and 226 in Randolph; improvements to Wiscasset Municipal Airport; and intersection improvements on Route 1 in Wiscasset.

“Several ... projects are scheduled for our area in the next three years,” said Hanley. “They will strengthen our transportation network, make our roads safer and benefit all of us in a number of ways.”
