St. Philip's Episcopal Church Help Yourself Shelf Food Pantry is thrilled to receive $1,275 in holiday gift cards from the Shaw's and Star Market Foundation’s Nourishing Neighbors program.

We have partnered with Shaw's and Star Market Foundation for many years in the fight against hunger, and this generous gift card donation comes at a time when millions of Americans face increasing challenges accessing nutritious food. In Wiscasset, our need is great. We serve 80-100 local families a week and expect that number to increase this winter.

By giving our food pantry patrons a gift card to Shaw's, we are providing the dignity of choice. They can choose what they want to eat, when they want to eat it, this holiday season. This gift will help supplement our own efforts and contributions from the community.
