Hoepner – Wilson wedding
Karen Hoepner and Michael Wilson of Wiscasset were married on September 27 in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the Sheepscot Harbour Village Resort in Edgecomb.
Co-best men were Clifton Wilson of Brunswick and Michael Wilson Jr. of Beverly, Mass., sons of the groom. Maid of honor was Cheryl Johnson of Portland, sister of the bride. Bridesmaid was Samantha McLaughlin of Long Beach, N.Y., future daughter-in-law of the bride. Ushers were Mikey Wilson and Brenden Strout of Beverly, Mass., grandsons of the groom. The bride was escorted in by her son, Daniel Hoepner of Long Beach, N.Y.
The ceremony was performed by Episcopal priest Linda Peyton of Freeport. Family and friends gathered at the Water’s Edge Banquet Facility for a reception and luncheon. Music was performed by Wade Johnston of Freeport, music teacher at Bristol Consolidated Schools. In attendance were the bride’s parents, David and Priscilla Lemar of Dresden, and the groom’s daughter, Adelaide Wilson of Brunswick.
The groom is a lifelong machinist who works in his son’s business, Maine Tool and Machine in Brunswick. The bride is a certified safety professional who is employed by L.L. Bean in their Corporate Health, Safety & Wellness Department in Freeport.
The couple honeymooned in Arizona, visiting the Grand Canyon and Sedona, followed by a few days in Oceanside, California. The couple resides in Wiscasset. Best wishes can be sent to the couple at kmwilson@roadrunner.com.
