'It Matters What We Believe' service June 2
“It Matters What We Believe” is the reflection title for the Midcoast Unitarian Universalist Fellowship serviceon Sunday, June 2. These are the words of Unitarian religious educator Sophia Lyons Fah, and will be delved into by pulpit guest Marion Claxton, M.Div.
If asked what you believe in, deeply and honestly, how would you answer? What core beliefs sustain and inspire you … and why do you choose to claim them?
A hospice chaplain, Claxton has been a member of the Auburn UU Church for 25 years. She is one of the recipients of the Northern New England District's service to our faith awards for her work with the First Universalist Church, Unitarian Universalist in Auburn.
The Fellowship gathers every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. in the Porter Auditorium of Skidompha Library in Damariscotta. Entrance is through the door on Elm Street.
