Launching $25k Sunflower Dream Trip Sweepstakes
Enter to win a dream trip anywhere in the world — 100% of proceeds wupport At-Risk Girls in Thailand.
Trevett-based anti-trafficking nonprofit Friends of Thai Daughters (FTD), has launched the Sunflower Dream Trip Sweepstakes: a national fundraising sweepstakes offering one lucky winner a $25,000 dream trip anywhere in the world, or the cash equivalent.
The sweepstakes replaces FTD's beloved annual Sunflower Celebration, traditionally held in East Boothbay, and marks an exciting new chapter for the organization's fundraising efforts — one that invites supporters across the United States and Canada to participate, wherever they are.
"We've loved bringing our community together each year for the Sunflower Celebration in East Boothbay," said FTD co-founder Jane McBride, "and this sweepstakes lets us extend that spirit of generosity to a much wider audience. We’re inviting everyone to take part and to share this opportunity with friends and family: one ticket can change a girl's life — and it might just change yours, too."
About the Sweepstakes
Entries to the Sunflower Dream Trip Sweepstakes start at $100, and 100% of all contributions go directly to Friends of Thai Daughters, funding programs that keep vulnerable girls safe, in school, and on a path to independence. One winner will be selected to receive a $25,000 dream trip to any destination in the world, and can even have their trip curated by specialist travel company Charlotte James Travel, or can choose to take the cash equivalent instead.
The sweepstakes is open to residents of the United States and Canada (excluding New York) and runs through Sept. 15, 2026. No purchase is necessary to enter. Tickets can be purchased and full sweepstakes rules can be reviewed at Sunflower Dream Trip Sweepstakes. For questions, contact Friends of Thai Daughters at ellen@friendsofthaidaughters.org.
