Carroll and Traci Plummer of Georgetown and Randy Lester of Boothbay are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Elizabeth Lester, to Clarence “Chip” Appleton Preble III, son of Clarence Jr. and Judy Preble of Georgetown.

Ashley graduated from Boothbay Region High School in 2011. In August 2012, she graduated from the Maine Medical School of Surgical Technology. She is currently employed at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick as a certified surgical technologist.

Chip graduated high school in 2006. He attended the University of Southern Maine for two years where he studied business. He is currently a self-employed fisherman in Georgetown.

A July 13, 2013 wedding is planned.
