Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: 4 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 229 calls for service for the period of March 3 to March 10. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 2,335 calls for service.
Summons
Stanley Brewer, 45, of Bremen was issued a summons March 9 for Criminal Mischief, on Morgan Hill Road, Nobleboro, by Deputy Nathan Yeaton.
Arrests
Charles F. Hopkins, 35, of Augusta was arrested March 3 for Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked – Prior; Attaching False Plates and Violating Condition of Release, on Vigue Road, Whitefield, by Sgt. Scott Hayden.
Corey A. Frizzell, 46, of Edgecomb was arrested March 4 for Refusing to Submit to Arrest or Detention and a Probation Violation, on Bath Road, Wiscasset, by Detective Matthew Ryan.
Jamie D. Young, 46, of South Bristol was arrested March 7 on a Lincoln County warrant for Aggravated Forgery, on Poorhouse Cove Road, South Bristol, by Deputy Brandon Maciuba.
Camron D. M. Hopkins, 26, of Waldoboro was arrested March 8 for Violating Protection Order; Violating Condition of Release and a Knox County warrant for Violating Condition of Release, on Violet Lane, Waldoboro, by Deputy Brandon Maciuba.
Accidents
On March 3, an accident occurred on Main Street in Newcastle involving Shealyn A. Clifford, 22, of Boothbay and Rebecca J. Grover, 54, of Dresden. Ms. Clifford was following Ms. Grover on Main Street in Newcastle (on ramp to Route 1) in her 2014 Jeep Cherokee. Grover slowed her 2019 Kia Sportage and stopped for traffic on Route 1 (at yield sign). Clifford didn’t realize Grover had stopped and struck her vehicle in the rear end. Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.
On March 3, an accident occurred on Boothbay Road in Edgecomb involving Mark A. Barter, 48, of Boothbay Harbor. Mr. Barter was operating his 2018 Chevrolet Silverado northbound when a deer ran out into the roadway and into the side of his vehicle, causing driver’s side damage. Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.
