Open auditions for Heartwood’s new season
Heartwood Theater’s 17th Season will soon be in full swing, with three upcoming audition sessions open to local actors of all ages. Main stage productions include “Merry Christmas, George Bailey,” “Rosmersholm,” Henrik Ibsen; “Pride & Prejudice,” adaptation by Kate Hamill, based on the novel by Jane Austen.
Main stage production auditions will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to noon, at the Poe Theater at Lincoln Academy, 81 Academy Hill Road, Newcastle. Video submissions are due by this date, as well.
Auditions for the high school musical production of “Guys & Dolls” are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 2 and 3, from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Poe Theater.
Middle School auditions, open to all Midcoast thirdthrough eighth grade age students, for “Firebird and Other Eastern Tales,” will be held in the Poe Theater on Monday, Dec. 9 from 3-4:30 p.m.
