Thursday morning, Dec. 4 at 7:15, we had our grand opening of the Wiscasset Primary School Reading Oasis in the Title I room.
The Reading Oasis is the extraordinary prize given to us by Scholastic Books.
It contains 1,200 books, bookshelves, bean bag chairs, a reading bench and listening center, all worth $13,700.
Many staff members joined us for this celebration and recognition of Scholastic Books and the opening of the oasis to all our students.
