Rebecca Marie Cunio, 82, of Old Stage Road died October 15, 2012 at her residence.

She was born in Wiscasset on July 9, 1930, a daughter of George Cleveland and Viola Pearl (Dickinson) Grover. She attended Wiscasset schools and on December 24, 1947, she married Harold Tasker. She was employed at the Wiscasset Telephone Company and later in Bath, retiring in the 1970's. She married Paul E. Cunio and they resided in Maryland. In 1989, she moved to Florida and then to Wiscasset this year to live with her daughter Stephanie.

She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Easton, Md. and the American Legion Auxiliary in Bath.

She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Hastings of Wiscasset, one sister, Marion Bailey of Woolwich, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Ruth Belanger and Margery Hasson.

A graveside service was held at 1 p.m., October 18, 2012 at Grover Cemetery in Woolwich.
