On Dec. 4 at 7:15 a.m., teachers, parents and community members are invited to attend the official opening of the Wiscasset Primary School Scholastic Reading Oasis.

Earlier this year, WPS learned that the school had won this prize consisting of four bookcases, a reading bench with shelves, bean bag chairs, a stereo listening station with headphones, a books galore carpet, and 1,200 books from Scholastic.

All are welcome to come celebrate and recognize the generosity of Scholastic in providing this wonderful resource.
