This fireplace is a “must see” on the tour along with the spiral staircase and distinctive cabinetry designed and fabricated by the owners. The fireplace is a remarkable and efficient source of heat for the whole home, as well as an architectural focal point. The tour is Saturday, Aug. 11, and consists of five delightful homes with lovely ledge, shade and perennial gardens and three additional distinctive gardens. Tickets are available at the Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce on Townsend Avenue.
